How Fruit For Breakfast Affects Constipation

Eating fruit in the morning is the healthiest way to break your fast when you wake up.

Most fruit, with the exception of bananas, avocado, and dates, get digested throughout the gastrointestinal tract and not just in the stomach.

When you haven’t eaten all night, the nutrients and antioxidants in fruit are absorbed quickly and efficiently first thing in the morning. This will provide you with a much needed boost of energy in morning.

If you are suffering from intestinal issues like constipation, and have been for a while, try out this highly effective GI flush tomorrow morning:

  • Juice six (6) stalks of celery.
  • Eat 1-2 pieces of a high-water-content fruit (or 1-2 cups of fruit) i.e. berries, pineapple, papaya, kiwi, orange, or grapefruit.
  • *BONUS* Drink 6-8 ounces of cold brew coffee for a nail in the coffin of constipation!

Give it two to three hours and that constipation will be a thing of the past!
