Gold Medal Kind of Day for the Harshe Family!!!

Yesterday was the summer Compnet competition for Gracie Barra Arizona at Glendale High School.

It ended up being a fantastic day for the Harshe family, with three gold medals and one silver medal.

I submitted my first opponent in about a minute, and won my finals match 9-0.

It was our 16-year-old’s first competition, and she put on a clinic! She was up 16-0 when she submitted her first opponent, then beat her second opponent 14-0. And her cheering section was some of the loudest noise anyone from Gracie Barra Ahwatukee received!

Our 15-year-old once again submitted her opponent in about 30 seconds for yet another gold medal.

And our 13-year-old defeated his first opponent handily with a triangle, but lost in the finals to one of his Ahwatukee teammates.

All in all, a fun day!
